Fly Young Man

I’m not a dancer or a toe tapper. I am a head bobber. When I got the news that Dawg Wonder would be releasing a mixtape I began nodding my head without hearing it. Hell it hadn’t been released yet. I must confess though, I did have the privilege of hearing a few tracks via email. So the project itself, I knew would be Fly!! Dawg Wonder is another Dallas, Texas artist by way of Monroe, La., who is destined to be heard on a global level. “Fly Young Man” is mixed and hosted by Danjah One; though it released as a mixtape it is store shelf ready. There is no slacking on lyrics on this album, “Bark On Em” is a track that’s a warning shot to anyone who thinks they can see him with the lyrics: “ So I heard y’all wanted Carlos it’s the boy though/ Crown Royal eat rappers like pollo / feet firm in the soil / get the spoils”. Dawg Wonder also unleash his DDC family Truk Turna, and Classik on several tracks. I wont say which ones to avoid skipping around the album, which I seriously doubt you’ll do. This album features other dope artist: Original Soul, Tele Oso, Lawn Throw Jankinz, J. Rhodes, The Rapture, P Dot, and Spark Dawg.
